Our Team
Bainbridge Studios LLC is a two-person interactive design studio, made up of Founder and Lead Designer Tom Carmony and Project Manager and Collaborator Dianne Learned. Based in the (usually) quiet North End of lovely Tacoma, Washington, Bainbridge Studios has been cranking out engaging design solutions for clients since 2001.
Tom Carmony
Tom has been designing for the web since 1997 and developing brands and corporate identity since 2001. Above all, he values clean, intuitive design that delivers client messages quickly and efficiently; and he’s never met a slow introductory Flash animation that he’s ever liked.
Dianne Learned
Dianne holds a Ph.D. in experimental psychology and has more than a decade of research and project management experience. She utilizes those skills in helping clients evaluate the usability and accessibility of their sites and web apps and the effectiveness of their branding and marketing efforts. She also kicks ass at Scrabble. Don’t even bother challenging her.
Our Clients and Collaborators
With nearly a decade of client work under our belt, we’ve had the opportunity to work with an incredibly wide range of clients, from one-person start-up ventures to Fortune 500 companies. Whether working directly with clients or partnering with larger agencies, we’ve been fortunate to take part in hundreds of interesting projects with dozens of clients.
While we primarily work directly with small- and mid-sized clients, we occasionally partner with other agencies for larger scale projects. Some of our regular collaborators include: Foundry Interactive (Seattle), Barnes, Mosher, Whitehurst, Lauter & Partners (San Francisco) Advomatic (New York) and Crossbow Group (Westport, CT).
